Five plays, and we're punting. Conrad's boot goes 47 yards, Townsend returns it eight, and Purdue gets flagged for an illegal block. We'll take the field position, but the quarter ends with us down seven.

The Field Goal Fight

Purdue grinds out 13 plays. They stall. Echeverria Lozano hits from 25. 3 to 13. We answer with 11 plays of our own. Lopez steps up and drills one from 47 yards. That's a big kick. 6 to 13. Purdue gets the ball back, six plays, and they punt. Drennan boots it 54 yards. Wuest returns it five, and Purdue gets hit with illegal formation. We take over at the ISU40. Four plays. Nothing. Ijeboi rushes up the middle for one yard. Touchdown. 6 to 23. We get the ball back. Four plays. Owens throws incomplete, broken up by Clark. Turnover on downs. Purdue needs just two plays. Browne finds Harris for seven yards. Touchdown. 6 to 30. We get the ball back. Two plays. Conrad's punt is blocked by Owens. It goes just 23 yards. Purdue takes over. One play. Browne completes to Ijeboi for 19 yards, a first down to the ISU29. Then nothing. They punt. Touchback. We take over. Eleven plays. We punt again. Touchback. Purdue takes over with 3:08 left. Five plays. Browne throws short left to Waseem. Eighteen yards. Touchdown. 6 to 37. We get the ball back with 21 seconds left in the quarter. Four plays. Allen drops back. He throws. Down 38, we get the ball back. Six plays. Allen throws deep middle to Reed. Forty-five yards. Touchdown. Lopez's kick fails. 12 to 44. Purdue grinds out 12 plays. Chuba gets sacked for a loss of eight by McNair. Turnover on downs. We take over. Four plays. McCool rushes up the middle for one yard. Touchdown. Lopez converts. 19 to 44. Purdue runs out the clock. The Floodgates Open

Indiana State gets the ball to start the half. Five plays, and they're punting again. Townsend brings it back to our 38. Five plays. That's all we need. Ijeboi takes it up the middle from a yard out. Touchdown. 23 to 6. The Sycamores try to answer. Four plays, and Owens' pass is broken up by Clark. Turnover on downs. Two plays. Browne to Harris, 7 yards, caught at the goal line. Touchdown. 30 to 6. Indiana State's next punt? Blocked by Owens. We take over in their territory. Browne hits Ijeboi for 19 yards, first down. But the drive stalls. Turnover.
