Top of the eighth, we get a runner on with two outs, but Ramón Urías flies out to right. Colorado goes down in order in the bottom half. We have one last chance. Top of the ninth. Down two. With one out and two on, Iván Herrera steps to the plate. The pitch. He crushes it to center field. It is gone. A three-run homer. Thomas Saggese scores. José Fermín scores. We lead, 7 to 6. The dugout erupts. Jordan Walker grounds out, but we have the lead. Bottom of the ninth. Colorado gets a runner on with two outs. Cole Carrigg strikes out swinging. Ball game. We win, 7 to 6. The Comeback
Top of the sixth, and we finally get some breathing room. Three up, three down for St. Louis. Then the bottom of the sixth. Cole Carrigg steps in with one out and a runner on. He hits a fly ball to right-center. It's deep. It's off the wall. It's rolling. Carrigg is flying. He rounds third and he's coming home. Inside-the-park home run. The place erupts. 4 to 3.
