The Stretch

But we answered in the top of the sixth with that bases-loaded hit by pitch to Dylan Crews, and we've got the lead. The bats have been there when we needed them. Top of the third, three batters for the Nationals, and we send them right back to the dugout. Still nothing on the board. Then it's our turn, and this is where things start to heat up. Six batters come to the plate, and we finally get something going. With no outs and nobody on, Max Muncy steps in and rips a line drive to right field. Dylan Crews gives chase, but that ball is gone. Eight batters come to the plate in the bottom of the fifth, and we light it up. With one out and a runner on, Tommy Edman steps in and smokes a sharp line drive to left field.
